Chapter 5

When we arrived home, everyone rushed over to their own rooms. I still didn't know which was my room, so I didn't even bother going upstairs. I just stayed in the kitchen and waited for everyone to be done so we could leave. It was almost 6:00. Koki was the first one done and when he went down stairs he noticed me doing nothing. "Shouldn't you be getting ready as well?" he asked as he pulled a chair next to me and st down.

I looked at him confused. "I'm already ready," I said showing off my shirt. It was more casual compared to his outfit. He was only wearing a white T and some baggy shorts. I guess the style really fit him.

"Hmm...sou ka [I see]," he said not a tad satisified.

I was a little embarrassed and confused at his response. The next done was Taguchi. He sat next to Koki then asked me, "Aren't you going to get ready?"

My eyes shot open in shock. The same question as Koki. Is this not ready enough? I thought to myself. "I'm already ready," I told him.

"I asked the same thing," Koki told him.  I sighed in my mind. Oh God. "Oh yeah, do you know where you're sleeping?" Koki asked.

I thought about it and realized I was just asking myself that same question a few moments ago. "I was just thinking about that," I told him. "I actually don't know yet."

"Oh," he said in an understanding yet disappointed tone. "You're sleeping in the second room to your right when you go up." He stopped there with a continuing voice. I thought he was going to go on in detail, but he just stopped so suddenly.

Junno nudged him as if to tell him to continue his thought. "Tell her," he whispered.

"I don't want to. She already knows," Koki whispered back.

I scrunched my eyebrows. "I know what already?" I asked curiously.

Koki sighed and turned to face me with a worried look. "Your room..." he started.

"Yeah," I replied.

"It's in between Kame and Jin," his voice trailed off as he completed his shocking sentence.

"It's what?" I asked in shock.

Junno closed his eyes and answered, "It's in between Kame and Jin. Gomen, ne?"

My room? It's in between Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin? The two people in this house who absolutely hate each other? Why?! "I-ie. Daijoubu [No, it's okay]," I forced myself to say. Although what I really wanted to say was, "Are you friggin' retarded? Those two hate each other and I'm smack down the middle?!"

"Hontou ni gomen [I'm really sorry]," Koki apologized lowering his head. He lifted it and looked at me with a worried face. "It's just...none of us wanted to be in between the two," he explained. He lowered his head again. "Hontou ni gomennasai [I'm so so sorry]."

You better be sorry. "Kinishitenai de [Don't worry about it]," I told him. He lifted his head with a confused look. I guess he was expecting me to be mad. "It's not a problem. I'll live with it. I mean, it's only a year right?" God, please let it feel like it's only a month. Let this year fly.

"We're ready!" Maru called out from the stairs. He ran down the stairs and jumped to land right in front of the kitchen. "Ikou!"

I was in a sperate van as the other members. The only KAT-TUN members in my van were Kame and Jin. Perfect. I'm stuck with the two who hate each other. Kimochi wari [Creepy]. "Etto..." I said trying to break the awkward scilence. Both of them didn't look or even show any reaction to my words. Awkward~ Kame was looking out of the window he sat next to and Jin did the same, but with his own window. I was sitting in front of the two and just stared back and forth from one another.

"We're here," the driver announced and I sighed in relief. What an awkward ride here.

The manager appeared as the person who opened the door. "Welcome," she greeted and made room for us to walk out of the van.

First Kame jumped out, then Jin, then me. "Arigatou [Thanks]," I heard Jin say as Yuki closed the door. She bowed and he walked away ahead of all of us.

The others appeared just a few moments later. "Yo," Koki greeted as he jumped out of the van.

"Domo [Hi]," Yuki greeted politely.

"Nee, Jin wa [Hey, what about Jin]?" Maru asked as he looked at Kame. Kame stared at him as if he asked a forbidden question, then looked away. "Sou ka [Is that so]." He looked at me instead. "Jin wa [What about Jin]?"

"Akanishi-san?" I asked and he nodded. "He went ahead of us. I think he's already in the building."

"Sou ka [I see]," Maru replied. "Arigatou [Thank]."

"Let's go already," Koki shouted from the front door.

"Hai~" Maru answered and jogged to the doors. I followed him as Ueda and Junno did the same.

They were rehearsing for their next concert, Break the Records. We were in the Tokyo Dome. It was huge. The stage was bigger than I thought. I had only seen their concerts from the internet and DVDs, but never in real life. Attending the next concert would be my first concert from KAT-TUN...or any artist for that matter. I was so excited. Everyone was getting ready as they walked to the stage. As Ueda passed me I caught his attention by calling him out. "Ueda-san," I called.

He turned around and answered, "Hai [Yes]?"

"Where do I stay?" I asked nervously.

"Etto...[Um...]" He looked around the big stadium, then back at me. "Anywhere is fine I guess." He turned back around and continued his walk to the stage.

"Arigatou [Thanks]," I mummbled to myself. "Demo...[But...] even if you say that I don't know where to go." I ended up watching the group rehearse from the seats. I sat in the very front, then the very back. Then I wanted to see what it was like from behind the scenes. Then I ran back to the seats and sat down in the middle of the whole audience. Then I wanted to see the side view. I was running all over the place.

I remember seeing in the concerts that the members usually run across the whole stage just for the hell of it. I wanted to try it as the members were backstage discussing the song arrangements and dance moves. I started from the left of the stage then ran across it until I was out of breath by the time I got to the middle. I bent down and grabbed onto my knees for support. I was panting really hard and was ready to faint. "It's hard, right?" someone called from afar.

I let go of my knees and looked at who it was as I was still panting. "Kamenashi-san."

"It's harder than it looks, right?" he rephrased.

I stood up straight and tried my hardest not to pant anymore. "H-hai [Y-yeah]," I said as I tried to catch my breath.

"Try running across the whole thing while singing," he challenged jokingly.

"I can see why you guys are so fit," I told him.

He walked closer to me, but ended up sitting at the edge of the stage. He patted the empty spot next to him. "Sit," he offered kindly. It was the first time I actually heard him talk.

"Hai [Sure]," I answered and sat next to him. "Arigatou [Thanks]."

He layed down and looked up at the ceiling of the dome. I was still sitting up straight and didn't know why he was looking at the ceiling. After that, he didn't say a word. He just looked at the ceiling with a peaceful and satisfied expression.

"Kamenashi-san," I said to break the scilence.

"Ha [Yes]i?" he answered.

I took a deep breath. "Are you and Akanishi-san...fighting?" I was expecting a full breakdown and shouting from him.

"Sou dayo [That's right]," he answered casually.

"Eh?" I said completly confused. No snapping, yelling, shouting, or breakdown.

"Nani [What]?" he asked as he stood back straight up. "Doushita [Is something wrong]?" He looked at me with normal and warm eyes. I was stunned and couldn't reply. "Erika-chan? Erika-chan?"

It didn't take me until he started to poke at my shoulder did I realize that he was calling my name out. "H-hai [Y-yes]?"

"Doushita [Is something wrong]?" he repeated. "You blanked out."

"Hontou [Really]?" I asked embarrassed. He nodded with such a cute smile. For some reason my heart started to beat faster and faster "Gomen [Sorry]."

"Hey!" Junno called from backstage. "Kame! We need to practice the moves."

"Hai [Okay]!" Kame jumped onto his feet and walked away.

"Erika-chan!" Junno called.

"Hai [Yes]?"

"You can watch us if you want," he offered.

"Ah, hai [Ah, okay]," I said quietly. I stood up and dusted my jeans off. What was that feeling? I stod up straight and looked at the empty audience. "That was weird..." I mummbled to myself.

"Erika-chan, hayaku [Erika, hurry]," Junno called out again.

"Ah, hai [Ah, right]!" I said and ran towards him to watch the practice.

My heart...was beating...faster...? Nande [Why]?
