Living with KAT-TUN. Ch. 7

Chapter 7

Shopping with Jin was the most awkward thing that could ever happen to a person. Especially after the rude and insulting comment he delivered before we even began shopping. What a jerk! The whole time I was thinking of a comeback or an insulting thing I could say to him for revenge. But he didn't do one thing that was embarrassing or weird. He was completely normal. If you can call it that. He is a cold person, so he sort of shopped like a cold person.

I didn't even feel he was shopping. More like giving his rude advice and comments on the stuff I wanted or thought was cute. He'd always say, "Ugly," or "What the hell?" or "You're kidding me right?" I felt like either punching him in the face or kicking him in the balls. I couldn't decide which to do.

When it was finally his turn to buy something, he only wanted one thing: a hat. Because the man doesn't have enough hats. Apparently, he thinks that if he uses the same hat all the time the paparazzi will catch on to him. Oh, but he didn't use the word "paparazzi" he said, "I can't use the same hat. Or the "P" people will find me." He was mocking me! Agh! What a jerk!

But after shopping with him, I was relieved. I was so happy that I didn't have to be alone with him anymore. I can see why Kame and Jin don't like each other. It must be Jin's fault. That rude, ignorant, insolent, obscene bastard! No way am I going to be friends with him.

Honestly though, I wanted to be paired up with Kame. I'm sure if I went shopping with him my ego wouldn't be as broken down as it was with Jin. For sure Kame would've said stuff like, "That's cute," or "I like that," or "How wonderful." Unlike Mr. Blunt.

After shopping, we just went back home. I had to ride in the same van as Kame and Jin...once again. Although, after hearing all the abrupt comments from Jin, I could feel the awkward atmosphere around them, and it didn't bother me. I had thoughts and ideas of why the two got into a fight. Of course, Jin had to be the cause. He must've gone too far with his comments and upset Kame.

When we arrived home, I immediately went to my room and napped. I was too worn out from the shopping. Walking around in that huge mall was tiring! Five stories of heaven and the one devil. Although, most of the time we weren't even speaking. Whenever I tried to make conversation, Jin would either insult me, or look away.

Waking up from my nap wasn't so pleasant. Koki came running into my room screaming some nonsense I couldn't even understand. And the translaters were on. "Tanaka-san, Tanaka-san," I said trying to calm him down. He was freaking out and jumping all over my room. "Calm down. Onegaishimasu [Please]."

After his moments of panic, he finally calmed down. "Hai."

"What's the matter?" I asked still half asleep.

"We have an emergency rehearsal for the concert right now!" he shouted.

"Eh?!" I shouted bewildered. In a rush I got ready. Although I was still wearing the same clothes from before, brushing my hair has never been so difficult. I guess I was moving a lot in my sleep because it was so frizzy. It pissed me off. Once again, I was the last to be ready. "I'm ready," I told them as I ran down the stairs.

"You're wearing the same clothes?" Jin asked me disgusted.

"Urese [Shut up]," I hissed at him. He just chuckled and looked away. Yatta [I did it]! He's speechless.

When we arrived at the Tokyo Dome, it was the same procedure. The group members would practice and I would be left to do nothing but explore the huge stadium. There were still things I was curious about. I snuck my way to the top floor, where the lights are. I was curious about how it works and how difficult it must be for the people who work the lights to keep it shined on the members.

The room for the lights was bigger than expected. It actually went around the whole dome with no walls or glass to seperate them. The place I ended up at was right in the middle of the dome. Like dead in the middle. The members were practicing a segmant of the concert. They were dancing and stuff, looking all cool. I rested my elbows on the glass railing in front of the lights and started to watch them. They all looked like ants from all the way up here. "Kakkoi~" I whispered to myself.

But then I realized something about the group. There was one member missing. "Ichi...ni...san...yo...go... [One...two...three...four...five...]." I stood up straight confused. "There's one missing." I squinted my eyes and looked closer. "Dare [Who]?"

"You like it up here too?" a familiar voice asked from behind me.

I turned around so quick, I thought I was going to fall. It was Kame. "Ah, Kamenashi-san." My heart started to beat faster again.

"Yo," he greeted.

"Domo [Hello]." I bowed my head.

"What are you doing here?" he asked. He sat down on one of the chairs placed behind the lights.

"Ah, gomen. Yapari, dame [Ah, sorry. Just as I thought, this is no good]?"

"Iya, daijoubu [No, it's alright]." He put his hands in his pockets and sat up straight. "Actually, I come here all the time."

"Hontou ni [Really]?" I asked surprised.

"Hontou ni [Really]."

I turned around to watch the members practice their dance, but then thought this was the perfect time to ask Kame something. "Kamenashi-san," I said still not looking at him.

"Hai [Yes]?"

"How old were you when you debuted as KAT-TUN?"

"How old?" He sighed in a thoughtful way. "Around 19?"

"That young?"

"Hai. Nande [Yeah. Why]?"

"Did you ever feel nervous when ever you danced or sang with your senpais [seniors] back when you were a junior?" I finally turned around to face him.

"Hai. Itsumo [Yeah. Always]."

"Yapari, ne [Just as I thought, huh]?" I turned around and rested my elbows on the railings. I continued to watch the members dance. For some reason, a grin formed on my face. Then, at the midst of the members dancing, one of them suddenly stopped and waved at me. "Watashi [Me]?" I asked not loud enough for them to hear, but for Kame to hear.

"Doushita [What's wrong]?" He got up and stood next to me. "Ah, Taguchi da [Ah, It's Taguchi]."

"Taguchi-san? How do you know?"

"He's taller than everyone else there."

I looked closer at the members and realized Kame was right. "Hontou da [It's true]."

"Darou [Right]?" All of a sudden, Junno started to motion us to come down. "I think he wants us down there." Kame turned around and leaned against the railing with his back. "Ikou [Let's go]?"

"Hai." I nodded my head and followed him out.

When we went down to meet the other members, Junno told us to meet at the discussion room. It was my first time going into such an important room where important things are discussed about. Everyone was there, even Yuki-san. "Domo [Hello]," I greeted everyone as I walked in. I sat next to Maru and Kame. Jin was across from me.

"Saa [Well]," Yuki started off, "what are you guys planning on doing for the MC part?"

"Shouldn't we just wing it?" Koki suggested.

"Why not? That's what we do most of the time and the fans seem to like it," Maru agreed.

"Why not talk about what we all did the day before?" Junno threw out there.

"Boring~" Ueda commented playfully. "I never do anything the day before a concert. Plus, we're living with Erika-chan. What are we supposed to say?"

That was true. If other people were to find out that KAT-TUN was living with a plain woman like myself, the fans would have a heart attack and the paprazzi would have a field day. I never heard any news about KAT-TUN living with another girl, so I don't want to be the first that gets exposed. "What about inviting Erika-chan onto the stage?" Koki offered.

"Eh?" I said completely apalled.

"That's a good idea! We'll "randomly" select you from the audience," Maru said all excited.

"Iin ja nai [Isn't that good]?" Jin sarcastically said to me.

I bit my bottom lip in anger. "U-re-se," I mouthed to him.

"So Jin-kun agrees too?" Junno asked surprised.

Jin leaned back in his chair and grinned. "I'm 100% for it."

100% for it my ass.
