This isn't a KAT-TUN based story, or any JE group based story. >< Sorry if you thought it was. It's a story I have already finished, but I wanted to see what you guys thought about it. It's a mystery, first one actually. XD I wrote it a long time ago, and the location is America, so very few Japanese words. But there are some, but I didn't put the tranlations. >< Sorry~
So yeah, please tell me if you want chapter 2 or not. ><

Summary: Jordan Larson and Kazuya Hasuka are detectives who work in Miami's Secret Office. They solve cases that normal detectives can't handle. Together, they are able to solve any case. Both hold an unbeatable record. They've solved cold cases, hard cases, and weird cases. But Jordan and Kazuya are faced with a case they've never seen. A serial murderer is on the loose and is killing random people in various ways. For some odd reason the victim is found at 1:01. Is the murderer smarter than Miami's best detectives?
"The victim's name is Robert William. He is 35-years old and works in an office," the police officer informed two detectives.
"This man worked in an office?" one of the detectives asked. He was quite tall and had a firm body. He worked out everyday, and it showed. Today, he wore a thick coat to protect him from the cold winter breeze. "Why is he dressed up like that?"
The dead man lying on the concrete floor was wearing a flashy robe and a cane was placed next to him. His pants were black and he was wearing dress shoes. Anyone would mistake this man as rich, but he was an office worker.
"Eh...according to witnesses, they saw the victim coming out of a club," he explained.
"Oh, I see." The detective turned around and began looking around the tunnel. "Where'd he go?" he asked himself.
"Who, sir?" The detective turned around nervously, laughing.
"No one. Continue your explaination."
"Sure." The officer looked back into his memo pad and continued, "The cause of death is unknown."
"Unknown? Wasn't he strangled? Or maybe shot, stabbed, and beat up. Oh, now I see why it's unknown." He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed nervously.
The victim had rope burns on his throat. Although he had bullet holes through his chest and heart. There were stab wounds in his stomach and legs. His face was badly bruised and injured.
"He was discovered dead at 1:01 p.m. today."
"1:01 p.m.? By whom?"
The police officer pointed behind him at a shivering woman covered with a blanket, sitting on the roof of a police car. "She did. She says that," he flipped a page in his memo, "he suddenly fell from the top of the bridge. Um...she was walking by and at exactly 1:01 p.m. the body fell in front of her."
"It fell? In front of her?" The police officer confirmed this with a firm nod. "How weird. At 1:01 p.m.? Anyways, bring her to the station and question her. I gotta go, bye." The detective left the crime scene and arrived at a nearly empty cafe. He looked around until a foregin man who was sitting alone caught his attention. "There he is." He walked up to the man and sat across from him. "Finally found you." The man looked up to the detective with an irritated face. "Why'd you leave in the middle of the explaination?"
"I got bored," he answered and stood up with his hands on the table. He left a tip, and then left the table.
"Hey, wait," the detective called. "How many times do I have to tell you, Kazuya? You can't just bail out during an explaination." He caught his shoulder and turned him around. "They give you valuable information."
"I don't need their help. I already know what I need to know." He brushed his hand off his shoulder and walked out of the cafe with his hands in his pockets.
The detective followed him out and called out to him, "Then what do you know?"
Kazuya continued walking as he told his partner everything he knew. "The fact that he was 35. He wasn't married and he wasn't rich either. He was dressed like that because he came out of a club before being killed. His job was probably a writer or at an office where he had to write a lot." They stopped on an intersection to cross the street. When they safely crossed the street, Kazuya continued what he was saying. "Oh, and one more thing. I know the cause of death, Jordan-san."
Jordan gasped. "How does he know? Didn't he only take a glance at it?" he mummbled to himself.
"He was strangled."
"Yeah. He was also shot, stabbed, and beaten up," Jordan added disappointed.
Kazuya turned around. "I'm not talking about what happened to him. I mean the cause of death."
Jordan was confused. "What's the difference?"
"Jeez, you really are dumb. It means thst the murderer strangled the victim first. Then he shot, stabbed, and beat him up afterwards."
"Hold on, how are you so sure of this?" Jordan asked.
"The burn on his throat."
"Throat?" He touched his own throat and traced across it, making a semi-circle.
"It was the oldest one there. It was turning purple."
"So how do you explain the bullet holes or stab wounds? Even the brusies."
"You really don't know?" Kazuya asked and was given a shake of the head. "And you're my senpai?" he said greatly disappointed.
"You're what? Oh, never mind that. Just explan it to me."
"The bullet holes, stab wounds, and brusies were all distractions. The murderer wanted to divert our attention away from the real deal."
"Divert? So what's the 'real deal'?" Jordan asked placing quotaion marks around "real" and "deal".
Kazuya sighed. "That's the thing. I don't know what he's hiding." He started to tap his finger against his chin. "What's he hiding?"
"Wow, Kazuya. I've never seen you so determined to solve a case. Is justice rubbing on you?" Jordan nudged his friend with his elbow and winked at him.
"What? No. Shut up," Kazuya responded annoyed. "I don't care who did it. I'm only interested in how they did it."
Jordan sighed. "Same old Kazuya."
They stopped in front of the police station they worked at, Secret Office. It was a big building for only the two of them. Kazuya and Jordan were the only two who worked there. The superintendent gave then this building to work in their privacy. It was originallyJordan's, but Kazuya was hired from Japan. The building was equipped with the latest technology around the world.
They walked into the garage and stopped in front of a steel door. "I'll go first," Jordan announced. He placed his right palm onto a scanner. Then, he leaned towards a small ball that was on top of a metal pipe. Jordan opened his eyes wide and the small ball opened. It began to scan Jordan's eye.
"Jordan Larson," The machine said like a robot.
"Your turn." Jordan stepped aside and made room for Kazuya.
Kazuya did the same thing, except he placed his left palm on the scanner. "Hasuka Kazuya-san," the machine sang.
"Why last name first, again?" Jordan asked.
"It's a Japanese thing," Kazuya answered as the steel doors opened. Jordan followed him in before the doors closed.
"So have you figured it ouy?" Jordan asked and sat down in front of a computer. He turned his monitor on, and then his computer. He entered his password and begun his daily case reports.
"Figured what out?" Kazuya asked, laying down on a couch and staring at the ceiling.
"What the murderer is hiding." Jordan turned his chair around and looked at Kazuya.
"Mada," Kazuya said in Japanese.
"I'm guessing no." Jordan stood up and hovered over Kazuya. "Maybe the killer is smarter than you," Jordan chuckled.
"Urasai," Kazuya mummbled.
"Aznyways, the killer is a strange fellow." Jordan walked bake to his computer and continued his report.
"In what way?" Kazuya asked interested.
"According to the woman who found the victim, he fell off the bridge above the tunnel. The weird thing is, it was at exactly 1:01 p.m."
"Exactly?" Kazuya asked.
"Yup. Exactly. Ironic, right?"
"Ironic? Or maybe planned," Kazuya said to himself.
"Huh? Planned?" Jordan said confused.
"Jordan-san, how was the body discovered, again?"
"What? You don't know the details?" Jordan said sarcastically.
"Shut up and tell me," Kazuya demanded.
"Alright, alright," Jordan said giving in. He dug through his pocket inside his coat and took his memo pad out. He flipped through a couple pages and began reading it out loud. "Um...she said that he fell in front of her."
Kazuya sat down next to Jordan. "In front?" Suddenly, the phone began to ring. Jordan answered it.
"Hello~?" There was a long pause, then his expression changed to shock. "What? There was another murder?: Kazuya immediatly stood up. "Right. We'll be there. Bye." Jordan slammed the phone onto the receiver and turned around. "Ka-" Kazuya had already left. "What? Where'd he go?"
