Chapter 13

Uwa~ Why does my head hurt so much? Eh? I can't open my eyes. Open your eyes. C'mon, open them. I tried opening my eyes, but they didn't budge even a centimeter. What's going on? I tried to move my fingers, but it seemed that that was impossible as well. Eh? Nande [Why]? Eh? Shinde [I'm dead]? Uso [You're kidding]!

"Erika-chan?" someone called beside me.

Eh? Kono koe [This voice]. U-Ueda? I forced my eyes open to realize I was right. Ueda was kneeling next to me as I was laying down on the floor. Where am I? "Ueda-san?"

"Erika-chan! You woke up," he told me excitedly.

Woke up? So I'm not dead? "Eh? What'd you say?" someone else from a far asked surprised.

"Erika-chan woke up," Ueda repeated.

In a split second, Nino was kneeling next to me on the opposite side Ueda was. "Yokata [I'm glad]," he said relieved as he sighed.

"Ninomiya-san?" I said confused.

"When did she wake up?" Nino asked Ueda.

"Just now," he answered.

"Erika-chan?" Nino called.

"H-hai?" I answered confused. Agh! My head is hurting so much.

"Daijoubu [Are you alright]?" he asked.

"H-hai. Daijoubu desu [I'm alright]."

"Your head?"

"My head?" Agh! There goes the pain again. "It hurts just a little."

"Yokata." I tried sitting up straight, but it was useless alone. Nino helped me up, and my head started to hurt even more. I placed my hand on the place where it was hurting. "Daijoubu?" Nino asked again.

"Daijoubu daijoubu. Zen zen henki [I'm perfectly fine]," I lied. "Agh!" I shouted as I grabbed onto the side of my head.

"You're not fine," Nino told me.

"I'll get some ice," Ueda said and left to the kitchen.

"Ah, sou dayo [That's right]." I looked at Nino. "Where am I?" I asked.

"Home," Nino told me as if it were obvious.

"Sou ka [I see]." I looked around and realized I was in the living room. The same place Nino and I were supposed to play Mario Kart. "Minna wa [Where's everyone]?"

"Most went back home. The only ones here are me, Sho-kun, Yamapi-kun, Aiba-kun, Jun-kun, and Ohno-kun."

"Eh? Nande [Why]?" I asked confused.

"You don't remember?" he asked.

"Remember what?" I asked.

"What happened at your welcoming party."

"My welcoming party?"

Flashback

I ran back downstairs and went into the living room. "Nino-" I was looking at the chair he was sitting at, but he wasn't there. "-miya-san?"

"Oi! Yamete [Hey! Stop it]!" I heard someone scream in the kitchen.

"Yamete!" other people shouted.

"Kisama [Bastard]!"Jin let loose of Yamapi's grip and ran towards Kame with a fist in the air.

"Come get some!" Kame shouted and let loose of Ueda's grip. He ran towards Jin with the same fist in the air and charged.

"Yabe [Oh no]!" I said to myself. I intinctly ran to the middle of the circle to come in between the fists, but I wasn't sure if I would make it in time. I ran as fast as I could and then stopped in the middle of them.

Real Time

"Ah!" I suddenly shouted.

"You remember now?" Nino asked.

"H-hai." I tilted my head and then started to think about the past incident. "Kamenashi-san and Akanishi-san were fighting."

"Hai," Nino confirmed.

"Soushite [And then], they were about to hit each other."

"Hai."

"Dakara [So,] I ran in the middle of them."

"Sekai [Correct]!" Nino shouted like a game host.

"De [So]?" I asked looking at him.

"De nani [So what]?" he asked confused.

"Ano futari. Doushita [Those two. What happened]?"

"They're in their rooms right now," he answered.

"Demo [But]..." I said unsure.

"Nani [What]?"

"If I remember correctly, weren't Kamenashi-san and Akanishi-san punching the opposite directions?"

"Sou dayo [That's right]."

"Jaa, why is my head only hurting? Shouldn't my stomach be hurting as well?"

"Sho-kun ran into the middle to protect you. He wasn't able to protect your head though. Just your stomach. He ended up getting hit in the stomach by Jin-kun," he answered.

"Sakurai-san wa [Sakurai did]?" I asked shocked.

"Hai."

That must be why he's still here and the rest of Arashi. But why is Nino here and not with Sho? "Ninomiya-san," I called.

"Hai?"

"Nande [Why]?"

"Nande? Nande nani [Why what]?"

"Koko ni [You're here]."

"I'm worried of course," he answered bluntly.

"Sou ka [I see]," I said still confused.

"I'm back~" Ueda said as he kneeled down next to me with a pack of ice in his hand. "Hai [Here]," he said handing me the ice pack.

"Arigatou [Thanks]," I said and took the pack from his hand. Then I slowly placed it on my forehead. "Agh!" I shouted.

"Nani [What]?" Nino and Ueda asked in unison.

"Tsumetai [It's cold]," I told them as I pushed the pack further away from me.

"Baka~ Touzen darou [Stupid~ That's a given, isn't it]?" Nino scolded me.

I chuckled. "Sou dayo, ne [That's right, isn't it]?" Bully...

"Nino~" someone called from the stairs.

We all turned around to find out it was Sho. "Sho-kun, daijoubu ka [Sho, are you alright]?" Nino asked as he stood up.

"Mouchiron [Of course]! It's gonna take more than a punch from my kohai to take me down," he boasted as he slapped his stomach. "Ah," he said as he looked over to me. "You're awake."

"H-hai," I answered.

"Daijoubu?" he asked in a concerned tone.

I got on my knees and lowered my head. "Gomennasai!" I apologized deeply.

"Eh?" he said confused. "Nani ga [For what]?"

"You got hurt trying to protect me," I said as I raised my head.

"Daijoubu daijoubu. I'm not hurt at all."

"Demo..." Sho's stomach was covered in a wrap so thick, if I were to punch it, my knuckles would bleed. I looked at that wrap with an unsure look.

"Kore [This]?" he asked pointing at the wrap. "This is just Aiba-kun worrying too much. I'm telling you, I'm perfectly fine."

"H-hai..." I said still unsure.

"Anyways, what happened with the two idiots?" Nino asked talking about Kame and Jin.

"Yamapi-kun is talking to Jin-kun. Nakamaru-kun is talking to Kamenashi-kun. Jun and Aiba are "keeping" gaurd of the two," Sho reported.

"Sou ka [I see]," Nino said and then looked at me. "I guess we'll go now."

"Hai," I said as I stood up.

"Gomen ne? We weren't able to play Mario Kart. Next time we meet, we'll play for sure," he promised.

"Hai."

"Yakusoku [It's a promise]." He curled his pinky and showed it to me.

I entangled my pinky with his and we shook on it. "Hai," I answered.

Moments later all of Arashi left. "Bai bai," Nino said waving.

"Jaa ne," I said and then closed the door. So the only one here is Yamapi, right?

I walked upstairs and was about to pass by Jin's room, when I heard him and Yamapi arguing. "Jin, what are you thinking?" Yamapi asked furiously.

I quickly stepped back and hid myself behind the wall. "Urese [Shut up]! I don't know myself, alright?" Jin answered.

"She's a fan! A fan!" Yamapi told him.

"I know that!" Jin shouted.

"Then why!?"

"I don't know. I just do, okay?" Jin answered quietly.

"You can't fall in love with her. If you do, it'll mess you up."

"I already know that! But it's just..."

"It's just nothing!" Then I heard footsteps getting closer to the door. Yabai [Oh no]! I stepped even further back, and was barely able to hear their voices.

"Look, Yamapi, I'll try to forget her. Just...for now let it be."

"What about Awakai-chan?" Yamapi asked seriously.

"I've already forgotten about her. Don't bring her up," Jin said in a threatening voice.

"Jin," Yamapi called him.

Awakai-chan? Dare [Who's that]?
